Experiencing Personal Revival In The Light Of CHrist's Soon Glorious Return

"According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love" (Eph. 1:4). "That we should be holy,"

This statement expresses the will and plan of God for all his children, in this mortal life, and in this present gospel dispensation. Faith in the return of Jesus Christ has ever been a strong motivation for Christians to seek a pure heart and to live holy lives (II Pet. 3:11-13; I Jn. 3:3 ), and for instilling fear in sinners that should lead them to salvation (II Cor. 5:10).

Contrary to our modern popular dispensational premillennial end-time Bible prophecy false learning, when Christ comes again He will resurrect and judge EVERYBODY according to their works (Matt. 16:27; 25:31-46; Jn. 12:48; Acts 17:31; I Tim. 4:1; I Pet. 4:5; Rev. 11:18; 20:11-15).

The above fact is why it is so important for you and I, as Christian workers, to get "converted" from the "baloney" that we may have been taught in Bible school somewhere back in the day, when some wanabe prophecy teacher who did not know what he or she was talking about tried to cram Larkin's Dispensational Truth's Darbyism down our young, innocent, and impressionable throats. It is a crying shame, friends, that an entire generation or two of Christian leaders in the Wesleyan Holiness movement, and elsewhere, was thus so profoundly deceived about the revelation of Almighty God!

We are not crying over spilled milk, friends, we are only attempting to pick up the broken pieces, to clean up the train wreck, as it were, and to recast mentalities anew in categories that are more honestly and thoroughly biblical, especially in terms of historic Wesleyan Arminian theology.

There is a worthy cause in what we are doing and we know it. Our job is to make Christian converts to the truth of the divine revelation and that truth of the divine revelation is not the modern, popular, shallow teachings of the "Left Behind" crowd touting the hackneyed theory of that one-hundred-year-old system of doctrinal heresy called Scofield/Darbyism. Happy day when the whole Wesleyan movement has gotten thus wised up!
